One Goal

One of our goals is the pursuance of unity - we do not believe in segregation or separation.
All of our children/students learn together no matter what tribe, religion, sex or ability.
In learning together we learn to love. appreciate, respect and understand one another in our individuality; whilst remembering that each individual has a great contribution to society and together as one we will make one great nation!

Its an honour to be the first to comment and I commend Ed4Life for setting up this Blog Site.

We, over here in the comfortable UK, need to be kept aware of the difficulties being faced by the folk in Kenya and how it affects our friends at Tumaini. They need our support in whatever way we can provide it, be it cash, goods and/or prayer.

Since my visit last August I have built up a vision of helping the school by setting up a skills training system for some of the pupils when they complete their academic education. At this point in time it is only a dream which has yet to be agreed and/or developed with Glyn and Jane.

One of the main problems is to obtain tools/equipment and get them from the UK to Mombasa. There are a number of charities doing this sort of work but so far none that I have contacted have offered any real assistance. I think it nwould be possible to obtain tools and refurbish them but shipping is the problem.

If you are interested in such a project to assist Ed4Life and/or know of any ways to ship tools/equipment to Mombasa at no or very low cost, please make contact.

Thanks and regards
